Daniel Rivero
(Spring 2024-Current)
I am a Biochemistry major, I synthesize next-generation Nylon like polymer. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.
Ashley Lopez
(Spring 2026-Current)
I am a junior majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Physics. I’m very happy to be able to join and learn from Dr. Sarkar’s polymer research lab. My research project focuses on the fluorinated peptide-based polymer synthesis and studying their mechanical properties. In my spare time I love to read, swim and spend time with my friends.
Kenan Bitar
(Spring 2026-Current)
I am a sophomore majoring in Biology on a Pre-Med track. I am excited to learn from and participate in Dr. Sarkar's research lab. My research project focuses on the fluorinated peptide-based polymer synthesis and studying their mechanical properties. My hobbies include working out, boxing, and traveling.
Fatma Elhousseini

I will characterize the fluorinated peptide-based polymers nanostructures via atomic force microscopy (AFM) . In my downtime, I enjoy playing instruments and reading.
