Meet the Current Research Students
Daniel Rivero (Spring 2024-Current) I am a Biochemistry major, I synthesize next-generation Nylon like polymer. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.
Nicole Paccha (Summer 2024-Current) I am a junior majoring in biology who will help synthesize distribution-defined polymers. I am excited to be part of this research and hope to expand my lab research experience. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.
Sophia Gambuti (Fall 2024-Current) I am a junior majoring in exercise science and plan on continuing my education in the physician assistant program. I am excited to join Sarkar's Research Group to synthesize next-generation Nylon like polymers. I am part of Montclair State University’s soccer team and like to paint in my free time
Krishna Rana (Spring 2025-Current) I am a senior majoring in Molecular Biology. I am excited to join Sarkar's Research Group to work on polymer self-assembly in nanoparticles templating. In my free time, I enjoy painting, cooking, and listening to music.
Eric Drazek (Spring 2025-Current) I am a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I am excited to join Sarkar's research group and work on polymer self-assembly. I work as an EMT in both transport and 911, and in my free time I enjoy going to the gym and going out with friends.
Rohia Chaudhary (Summer 2025) I'm a junior Molecular Biology major on the premed track. I'm excited to join Dr. Sarkar's research team and deepen my knowledge on high-performance polymer synthesis through hands-on experience. Outside of academics, I enjoy biking, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family.
